Can I run stream controls without opening OBS mid-match?
Touch and prepared Keys actions put supported show controls on a tablet or physical buttons. You can also use Director in a browser. These operate the configured workflow; OBS still needs to be running, and troubleshooting or unsupported actions may require its interface.
Can a trusted moderator run production from another location?
Yes, when you explicitly enable and configure remote access. An authorized CO-DIRECTOR can operate supported scenes, media, graphics and configured chat actions through CueBrio. Being a moderator on a streaming platform does not automatically grant CueBrio access. You can revoke sessions or disable remote access while retaining local control.
Will CueBrio improve my gaming frame rate?
CueBrio coordinates show controls; it does not promise higher frame rates or zero overhead. The game, OBS, capture devices and recording settings share your computer’s resources. Test your intended resolution, encoder and game settings together before streaming.
Does CueBrio automatically react to game events?
Game-state triggers are not a standard feature promised here. The prepared workflow supports deliberate cues and configured controls. Do not assume automatic scene changes on wins, deaths or game-state events; a custom integration would need separate implementation and testing.
Do I need a Stream Deck to use CueBrio?
No. Director provides the production workspace in a browser, and Touch provides tablet-oriented controls. Keys adds prepared Companion and Stream Deck actions for supported hardware. Keys is a software integration; controller hardware is not supplied by CueBrio.
Will local recording survive an internet interruption?
OBS recording and streaming are separate configured outputs, but local recording quality is not guaranteed by CueBrio. Available local sources may remain recordable when the upload connection drops; remote guests and online media can be interrupted. Encoder settings, storage, source availability and the computer’s health still determine what is recorded.
